What does a website cost?

This is a common question, unfortunately there is no set answer. The cost of a website is determined by the amount of time and effort that needs to go into creating it as well as moving/creating all of its content.

Can you modify my existing website?

The short answer is yes, but in some cases it is more cost effective to write a new one. Contact us with your existing website information for a clearer answer on this one.

Do you do hosting?

Yes we do. We offer free hosting for 1 year with any of our designs. We also allow people to just host on us and do the design/development themselves or elsewhere. We have opted not to automate our hosting signup as we like to talk to our customers first and be sure they are making an educated decision.

What do you charge?

There are many factors in calculating our costs. All our projects are quoted before any work begins, so you know the entire cost up front and the cost doesn’t change unless the site requirements change. (Even then we’ve been known to be very flexible.)

What languages can you develop in?

We develop in CSS, HTML, PHP, Javascript, and XML primarily. We can also work with Flash, ColdFusion, CGI, Perl, and many more. In most cases HTML and PHP are more than adequate for the task. Our only spoken language is English.

Can you develop a website without being at our business site?

Yes. We have developed websites as far east in the US as Minnesota and as far west in the US as California. We have developed many sites in England, Australia and Africa as well.

What do I need to have to get you started on our website?

The first thing we do is give a quote for the job. Once that is done and the quote is accepted by you, we take a 50% non-refundable deposit. Then we build a graphic picture of the final product and send it to you for approval. Once approved by you, the real work starts.

Our last web developer kept charging us for……

We don’t issue charges for anything that you haven’t approved. All work is done with a quote first, then a down payment. Any further charges would be brought to you for approval before any work incurring those charges was performed.

Sadly, we hear many tales of woe about bad developers who worked with a company before us. Not all websites are created equally and in this industry it seems truer than ever that you get what you pay for.

Can you build a website for $XXX?

There are always ways to cut the cost of developing your new website. Let us know what your budget range is and we  can tell you what you can do to get it done in that price range. (Note that the more you can do yourself, the more you can save yourself.) We are here to have 100% satisfied customers. We do not believe in just cranking out as many sites as we can. We are firm believers in quality over quantity.

Do you offer payment plans?

Payment plans will be considered on a case by case basis. We have been burned in the past offering them, but we have had some clients that could not have gotten their website up and going without it.
